Welcome to Attitudinal Healing International!

signpost3Welcome to Attitudinal Healing International (AHI), a multicultural community of individuals that is global in scope with common goals rooted in the Principles of Attitudinal Healing. We invite you to join us and contribute your own creative talents and resources to the developing, sustaining, and growing of the Attitudinal Healing International community and website. Together, we can... and do make a difference in the world.

WHO    AHI is the Official Home Portal for Attitudinal Healing worldwide. We are locally inspired, independent Centers, Groups, and Resource Persons from diverse cultures who use the universally accepted Principles of Attitudinal Healing for our own inner healing. We are committed to: taking responsibility for what we think, say, and do; recognizing that we are all equal students and teachers to each other; choosing peace over conflict; and, making decisions based on love instead of fear.

WHAT    AHI is the destination for information, locations, workshops, events, trainings, resources, speakers, and social networking for Attitudinal Healing.

WHERE    We are an ever-expanding global network located in multiple countries on six continents. We meet in diverse settings such as centers, community offices, schools, places of worship, homes, over the telephone, using the internet, etc.

WHY    It works! Attitudinal Healing is an award winning model of peer support groups widely recognized as a replicable, non-sectarian tool for self-healing that has been used in 55+ countries. It supplements and supports the fields of medicine, education, psychology, social work, faith, business, government, incarceration, bereavement, and personal growth for children, adolescents, and adults.

WHEN
Founded in 1975 by Jerry Jampolsky, M.D. and friends to support children and adults facing life threatening illnesses, Attitudinal Healing has continued to evolve in innovative ways in its application to crisis, challenges, communication, and change.

HOW    AHI is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization under the auspices of the Jampolsky Outreach Foundation, founded in 1978. It is comprised predominately of volunteers, making it very cost effective, and is funded primarily by tax deductable, private donations.
