We cannot hold onto grievances and experience peace at the same time.
Peace and love are inseparable from each other.
We cannot experience guilt and love, or guilt and peace, at the same time because inner peace is only experienced in the present moment.
In order to have loving relationships, with each other but also with everyone we meet, we need a constant willingness to let go of what has happened in the past and see the other person in the light of the present moment.
May we remember that experiencing love and peace in the present is the key to loving and peaceful relationships in the future.
