We cannot heal our emotional wounds until we are aware we have them.
Hanging onto the painful past and recycling it by projecting it into our relationships with others keeps us from healing our old wounds.
These old wounds, often scars of our childhood, are often never completely healed. They remain open because they continue to itch and we keep scratching them.
May we now see clearly that denying or fighting our old pain, our old wounds, does not get rid of them. Embracing forgiveness and living each day in the present moment is the first step to healing these old wounds forever.
Love and Peace,
