We find that one of the fastest ways of getting caught in our ego voice is to get caught in linear time.
There is that part of us that realizes that linear time has been an illusion. One of the fastest ways to get caught in our ego voice is to get caught in linear time, which brings the ego front and center.
We do our best to remember that the past is gone and can no longer hurt us, and the future is not yet here. That we live only in the present.
Even though there is part of our mind that knows this, we are amazed at how often in one day we can get caught in sequential events as the pressure of one builds upon the other. There is a lesson we did today from A Course in Miracles that says, “Above all else I want to see things differently.”
We are committed to practicing this lesson throughout this day.
