Worrying is a concept invented by our egos to keep us contained in a prison of fear.
Even when we logically understand that worrying does not help and, in fact, actually harms us, we frequently seem to fall back into old habits and patterns during stressful times. Everything peaceful flies out the window and worry seems an appropriate life-line again. We generally mistake worrying for caring because one derives from the other.
Let us help each other remember that worrying is a way of hurting ourselves that feeds our ego fears. All the centuries of worrying have never changed one single thing because worrying doesn’t work!
