About Geralyn:

Geralyn Russell is the founder and heart behind The Sense8 Studio, which features Attitudinal Healing Peer Support Groups, Introduction to Attitudinal Healing Workshops, and Forgiveness as a Life Skill (Certified Forgiveness Facilitator). Drawing on years of experience as a Certified Forgiveness Facilitator, Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach (FMCHC), and Somatic Yoga Educator, Geralyn creates a welcoming space for anyone seeking emotional healing and personal growth. As co-developer of Path2Green, an award-winning Emotional Resilience Program, she brings a compassionate approach to every group and workshop she leads.

Geralyn’s journey with Attitudinal Healing began during a challenging time in her life, and she quickly discovered the power of being truly heard and supported. Her mission is to help others experience the same sense of acceptance and transformation that changed her own life. Whether you’re joining a peer support group, attending a workshop, or simply reaching out for guidance, you’ll find a caring community where everyone is welcome—regardless of ability to pay.

Geralyn believes that “Love is Listening” and strives to create an environment where each person feels valued and understood. She invites you to connect, explore, and heal together.

“I am here to heal myself, and in doing so, I hope to inspire others to choose love, listen deeply, and embrace their own journey of transformation.”

Geralyn has offered Attitudinal Healing Peer Support Groups for the past six years. She has been an ongoing student of the Course in Miracles for many years as well. Her schedule includes weekly Attitudinal Healing (AH) sessions, and she is an active participant in supporting AH International through group training.

Geralyn often co-facilitates with other Attitudinal Healing facilitators. Geralyn and Paula Baker recently completed “An Introduction to Attitudinal Healing” Workshop series, and she and Trisha Halvorsen have co-facilitated several group series during the past few years.

In Geralyn's own words:

"Attitudinal Healing provided an opportunity to understand my feelings better. I completed Facilitator Training with Trish Ellis in 2019 while going through major surgeries. I was drawn to attend the Facilitator Training in Dallas, Texas but felt so weak I needed a wheelchair to get through the airports! The experience grew my humility and compassion for others in similar situations.

"In the training, I learned more about myself and how incredibly welcoming an Attitudinal Healing Group can be. I had never experienced what it was like to be heard in the AH way. Participants in our training groups were willing to be a witness and listen to what I shared, without judgment or trying to fix me. I felt love! It was a powerful experience and many of us had very little practice with AH at that time!

"My emotional healing seemed to deepen with each AH experience. When I began an AH Peer Support Group with family and friends, I soon realized the challenges of facilitating an AH group. Holding the space for myself and others as a facilitator required me to depend on the AH Principles and Guidelines during the group and in my daily life if I really wanted to be present and connected with the group.

"Over the years I have been mentored by individuals with years of AH experience, such as Trish Ellis, Kathy Harris, Trish Halvorsen, Pat Cowan, JoYi Rhyss and Els Thissen to name a few. The people I have met through AH are each inspiring in their own way – Talat from Pakistan, Lilly from AH China and Linda Davis from the US. Each has provided support, encouragement and unconditional love.

"As my commitment to AH increased, I volunteered to be on the international training team to conduct AH Facilitator training. Most recently, Paula Baker and I completed “An Introduction to Attitudinal Healing” online course, posted on the AH International website.

"In each group I am reminded 'I am here to heal myself,' and 'We are students and teachers for each other.'

"Thank you for helping us share your Attitudinal Healing work in the world with others!"
