with Trish Ellis

Online Training
Tuesdays on September 27, October 4, and October 11, 2016
4:00pm - 6:00pm PDT

In 2005, Attitudinal Healing founder and psychiatrist Dr. Jerry Jampolsky received the American Medical Association’s “Pride of the Profession” award for his pioneering Attitudinal Healing Peer Support Model. This model provides a framework and practical tools that allow ordinary people to effectively support each other to maintain peace of mind and they navigate life’s many challenges and changes.

In this 3-part online series, we will introduce:
    •    the history and philosophy of the Attitudinal Healing Peer Support Model
    •    the purpose and structure of an AH support group
    •    the role of the AH Facilitator

Through interactive exercises, participants will have an opportunity to:
    •    apply the Principles of Attitudinal Healing in their own lives
    •    practice peer support skills including empathic listening, emotional self-awareness and reflective communication
    •    participate in an online Attitudinal Healing Peer Support Group
