"Attitudinal Healing Austria"

MISSION STATEMENT:

To open a way for us and others to learn forgiveness in as many situations as possible. To remember together that it is always possible to change our attitudes towards ourselves, others, life and the world.

CONTACT INFORMATION:

Karin und Johannes Arko
Saikogasse 6
A-1220 Vienna
Austria

Homepage: www.attitudinalhealing-austria.info
Email: info@attitudinalhealing-austria.info
Tel: +431/9535523

HISTORY:

Karin and Johannes have been students of ACIM for more than 20 years, and had heard about Jerry Jampolsky. When they found out Melanie Gieschen had opened the first AH group in Germany, they spontaneously emailed her and asked her how they could bring AH to Austria. She invited them to come to Berlin. In September Karin and Johannes spent some time at Melanie's home in Berlin so she could give them intensive training.

Johannes had also invited some German ACIM students to come to Berlin at the same time and they had a wonderful ACIM meeting as well. After this meeting Karin and Johannes told the ACIM students about AH, and that they had the opportunity to participate in Melanie's AH group the next day. And so they did... and maybe there will be some more German AH groups very soon.

Back in Austria Karin and Johannes were busy preparing the start of AH, and in October they had the first AH group meeting in Vienna.

Their Attitudinal Healing Center is now fully up and running, and thriving.

The Attitudinal Healing Center of Nigeria
was set up with the aim of aiding and facilitating personal transformation in order to encourage right thinking, peace and progress. We have been working on the programming of our spreading Attitudinal Healing in Nigeria. We have 6 geo-political zones in Nigeria and the European Union, and we decided to select one state from each geo-political zone, meaning that initially our spread will cover the 6 selected states inclusive of the local governments in Nigeria.

By the time we cover those selected states, others will be looking towards us. We have identified areas of operation which will enable us to empower vulnerable groups including women and children. As we teach them the principles of personal transformation, we also need to eradicate poverty in those areas.

These are the systems to spread the Attitudinal Healing project in Nigeria and thereafter to Africa.

VISION:

Thoughts are things which grow wings and fly into the physical world. The outer world is merely a mirror for the thoughts which obtain within. As such the outer realm can never achieve conflict resolution, lasting peace and progress until these qualities are first developed and nurtured within. The work of the centre is dedicated to promoting a new way of conscious thinking so as to attract all good things that are due to the nation of Nigeria in particular, and by extension, Africa and the world as a whole.

The Center for Attitudinal Healing-North Bay (CAH-North Bay),
is comprised of community-based Attitudinal Healing support groups located in Northern California, ranging from San Francisco to the Oregon state border. It provides support groups for people facing such issues as chronic and life-threatening illness, caregiving of loved ones, bereavement, aging, unemployment, marriage and parenting problems, divorce, loneliness, and stress.

The groups utilize a model that supports inner growth, and they assist members in adopting new ways to solve problems and relate to others. Our work is based on the Principles of Attitudinal Healing – twelve tenets that inspire one to live in the present moment, to realize that no matter what their life circumstances are, they have a choice as to whether they experience peace or conflict, love or fear.

"CA: CorStone Center for Resilient Living"

CorStone provides children, families, and communities with the training, tools and techniques that foster emotional resilience for challenge, conflict or crisis. The goal is to develop and support emotional resilience – the ability to function competently, powerfully and peacefully under stress.

Emotional resilience reinforces people’s confidence that they can help themselves and others. It enables individuals, families and communities to face challenges, develop and maintain a positive attitude, make healthful choices, and solve problems on every scale.

VISION

CorStone works toward a world that chooses love over fear, compassion over indifference, and forgiveness over blame in the face of crisis.

MISSION

CorStone develops and supports emotional resilience in children, families and communities to better deal with challenge, conflict or crisis.

HISTORY

Formerly a Center for Attitudinal Healing, in 2008 we changed our name to CorStone. Our goal is to build upon our history and past successes while also applying other low cost/high impact, accessible, and scalable evidence-based methods, interventions and support systems to vulnerable individuals and communities in the U.S. and abroad. In our aspiration to become a leading provider of emerging systems, programs, research and best practices aimed at dealing with conflict and crisis, we wanted our name to reflect the full range of expertise we offer.

The name CorStone is derived from “Cor” which is Latin for “heart,” and “Stone,” which connotes a strong base or foundation – as in “a strong foundation for the heart."

For us, this concept perfectly captures the notion of emotional resilience. It also reflects our continued commitment to innovation and best practices in mental and community health, social-emotional learning, and communication skills development.

CONTACT INFORMATION:

http://www.corstone.org

info@corstone.org

Phone: 415.331.6161

"CA: Spirit House Center for Attitudinal Healing"

Spirit House Center for Attitudinal Healing is a nonprofit, charitable organization. We offer support service to those touched by catastrophic illness. We provide workshops, retreats and opportunities for community to gather, heal and deepen our awareness of the sacred. We believe that love and forgiveness are the most important healing powers in the world. Our definition of health is inner peace. We define healing as the process of letting go of painful beliefs and fearful attitudes. When we let go of fear, only love remains.

CONTACT INFORMATION:

http://spirithousecenter.googlepages.com

spirithouse@mcn.org

1 (707) 961-0776

Ron Nadeau
16550 Franklin Road
Fort Bragg, California
95420

SERVICES

Monthly Drumming for Everyone

The last Thursday of each month (except December) we circle up in Spirit House from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for a Drumming Prayer circle.
"Choose Again Society - Costa Rica Retreat Center"

The Choose Again Center is a place where the Self can be reborn in safety and in peace. It is a place for people who are yearning for a deeper experience of peace and joy in their life. It is a place for people who say: there simply has to be a better way.

Some will come to the Choose Again Retreat Center because nothing else has worked and they see the center as a ‘last resort’. Some others have been on a spiritual journey for some time and for them the center will be a wondrous respite.

We focus on who you think you are. Who you think you are is just a set of beliefs. You can change when you are ready and motivated to do so. We use the Principles of Attitudinal Healing and teach effective core belief correction methods which will change your life in a profound way. We do not teach behavior modification. If you practice what you learn at the center you will change your life forever.

Attitudinal Healing Group - St. Louis, Missouri

Group Information

We are a group of ACIM students, following the Attitudinal Healing Group Guidelines and Principles.

The healing that we are interested in, is the healing of our minds. We take turns facilitating and hosting the meetings. The meetings are held once a month and they are usually three hours in length.

We begin our meetings with deep listening or meditation. Then each member is given opportunities to share. Although we adhere to the AH Guidelines, we do sometimes comment on each other's sharing because someone's sharing may trigger something in another. Even in our first two meetings, it was apparent that following the AH Guidelines, when sharing, is very loving and we are grateful to have come together in this way.

Before we were guided to use the Attitudinal Healing Guidelines, we were a more traditional ACIM group. We met for a year with a willingness to be led by Spirit. This willingness led us to Attitudinal Healing - something none of us anticipated, but have now realized, is perfect. We have been perfectly guided. Our group is open to anyone who is willing to following the Attitudinal Healing Guidelines and Principles in the healing of their mind.

Contact Information
