Today I am joining the blogsphere! Just got back from Oklahoma City this past weekend. Jerry and I were invited there to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the OKC bombing. He and a few others went there back then to learn, share, and bring AH support groups to those who wanted them. These folks invited us back 15 years later because they said it was, and remains, so helpful to them in their lives.
Sharon Pair-Taylor from Arkansas and Shannon Taylor from College Station, Texas came too. They were part of the original group which also included Lorraine Campbell from Paradise, CA. and Cheryl Daniels Shohan here in Marin; Geri Rhea from Indianapolis was there originally too along with the wonderful Miss Dezorah Smith from San Francisco.
They have about 25 people and some trained, experienced facilitators who are now doing new AH Support Groups there. Many thanks to Lila Mann and Sue Robertson for leading the way and for Unity of Oklahoma City for hosting the support groups.
